This summer’s classical brass symposium promises to be one of the premiere experiences for any brass player seeking an intensive chamber music, orchestral, and personal musical experience. Study with musicians from Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, Leipzig Opera, St. Thomas Church, and Leipzig Baroque Ensemble. Immerse yourself in a style of playing unique to Germany and a rich tradition of orchestral and brass excellence. Revel in the beautiful concert halls and performance spaces available to you during the institute.
Performance opportunities and venues include the St. Thomas Church, Mendelssohn-haus, Stelzen Festival, and more. You will be performing in spaces that served as inspiration to some of classical music’s most prolific composers such as J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Johannes Brahms, and more. See orchestral tradition and excellence hundreds of years in the making up close. Study with internationally known and respected musicians.
In addition to the musical experience on receives at the International Music Institute of Leipzig, you will also receive a valuable cultural experience.
